Frequently Asked Questions
Are the images Photoshopped? We do not Photoshop the images onto backgrounds. All images are take in real snow in mountain settings.
Do you offer mats for the framed images? We did a lot of testing and went with a white border and simple black frame for a modern gallery look. Photography with snow is tricky. If the mat is not the correct white, the snow will look grey or yellow. If you prefer no border, please contact us for a custom order before placing your online order.
Can these images be ordered on other products? All images are property of Hooey Mountain and are copyright protected. Feel free to contact us with a request for us to make certain products. If we find enough people are looking for a specific product, we will consider producing it.
Do you offer printing on metal or fabric? If you want an image printed on metal or some other photographic finish, contact us at email@example.com and we can get you a quote. For bespoke products such as abstracts or fabric printing, contact us to start a conversation.
Do you offer designer pricing? Yes. Please submit a form to us for consideration.
Why do some images come in different sizes? Different cameras produce different aspect ratios and resolutions. Also, some images have been cropped, so the aspect ratios on the prints vary.
Do you offer custom sizing? Yes. Some images are limited on how they can be cropped or how much they can be enlarged. Additional charges may apply for custom sizes. Contact us for a quote at firstname.lastname@example.org
What is the frame made of? Our frames are a simple black metal gallery frame. It's important to note that the print is protected by ACRYLITE® Clear Acrylic glazing, NOT glass. ACRYLITE offers the beautiful clarity of the finest picture frame glazing at half the weight of glass and many times the impact resistance. Additionally, it blocks some ultraviolet light which will help prevent fading of your print. Prints should not be hung in direct sun light. All prints are backed by an acid free backer board.
Can I get frames in different colors? Call us if you wish to get a different color frame and we may be able to help you.
Are the colors on my computer the same ones on the print? Images on different computer monitors can vary slightly from what the image you receive will look like. We do our best to show a true representation of what the image will look like in your home. We work hard to make sure the snow is white and the colors pop.
How long will it take to receive my print? Things can get a little crazy between running a business, shooting new images and developing new products you will love. How will my prints arrive? Smaller prints will be shipped by a flat mailer or a tube. All larger prints will be shipped in a tube.
How long will it take to receive my framed print or acrylic mount? Framed prints are shipped in 14 business days. Acrylic mounts ship 3-4 weeks after an order is placed. For more detailed information on framing, acrylic mounts, and shipping see our footer pages.
Do you accept returns? All photo products are not held in inventory. They are produced when you place an order, therefore we are not able to accept returns or exchanges of prints, framed art or acrylic mounts at this time. If your product is returned due to an incorrect shipping address, additional shipping fees will apply. For all other products we do our best to describe exactly what you are getting, so there should be no surprises when it arrives. Contact us with further questions on our return policy.
What if my art arrives damaged? We do our best to package your art so that it arrives safe and sound. However, occasionally things do happen, and we deal with this on a case by case basis. Our shipping partners require any damage to be reported within 7 days of receiving the art; so please make sure to open your package as soon as you receive it. Please keep all original packaging and the art; as we may require photos and possibly the art returned to process your claim.
