Corduroy Studies

This original piece consists of thirty six individual pigment prints of freshly groomed snow, also known as corduroy. The images are arranged, individually float mounted and placed just so. The individual images were all shot early in the morning at a ski resort before the rush of skiers arrived. Together these images create movement where none exists.  All images are printed on cotton rag with archival inks. Images shown here on the website are likenesses to the final work.

Additional works in different patterns are continually being made. Contact me to see what the latest study looks like or commission one in a custom size, with a different orientation or as a diptych or triptych.
